I have often traveled to Basel on business and found this one last year. I have been in the boat once before (pre-geocaching days). I happened to be out doing a late night geocaching run – long after published hours for this cache. But the boat was coming to the bank next to me. It appears it had been “chartered” for a private party. I waited until the passengers were let off. I asked the captain about the cache. He welcomed on the boat, gave me a free river crossing to the opposite bank and back. We talked quite about about Rhine shipping, etc. He refused any compensation (which is a nominal fare anyway). I got this unique cache, an out and back Rhine cruise late at night under the stars and the the city lights, and met a very nice captain. It definitely received a favorite point from me. CACCBAG

Why should this geocache be a moving cache?
the Cache box is everytime located on the same place.
the only one which is in move is the ferry, not the cache

What a great idea to proclaim a cache as “geocache of the week” that is grandfathered and does not meet the actual guidelines. Phew!
This is a moving cache and moving caches are no longer accepted and won’t be published.
Lots of cachers are disappointed they cannot hide a similar cache.
