Not much for removing items but usually if it is a water tight container will leave a signature item such as a Pathtag. When we do find something irresistible we leave something equally irresistible. How do we know, usually someone caching with us will say, Oh you're not really leaving that, it's really cool and sometimes it's traded for before the cache is returned...LOL Lot of our swag items come from Halmark.. So they aren't really cheap but they are really cool. We also leave foreign coins sometimes. Here in the US we are visited buy other countries so we pick up foreign coins as well as leave them - sort of a foreign exchange.. This idea comes from a fellow cacher who is known for leaving really cool foreign coins in his wake, Clan Riffster.
