We once found a cigarette in a cache! I was a kid cache and that is no fun! I'm also sick of people saying they took nohing after you visted the cache then you re-vist after them and theres nothing there! Get real people! Rubish no. Paper no. Your card for avitising, NO! All it does is gets soggy and then turns into mush.

A good place to get cache items is garage sales. There are often little toys for a few cents. I recently picked up a whole bags of toys for only a buck and plan to beef up some of the caches we find that are lacking good swag.

Worst things I've found in a cache:

1. candy/gum/food (attracts animals)

2. cigarettes/chewing tobacco (items with an age requirement to purchase should not be in caches)

3. random pieces of trash (take it with you!)

4. anything that melts (candles, crayons, candy, etc. gets all over the inside of cache and on the contents)

5. damaged items including wet stickers and trading cards, moldy stuffed animals, rusted keychains and pins, and corroded batteries.
Please ziplock bag anything going into a cache to protect it from the elements. PLEASE!

LOL about the golfball. We picked one up at a chache yesterday along with a cool stretchy green frog. My son lamented the entire way home that he did not get the golf ball and he REALLY wanted it (my daughter had the golf ball and was thrilled).
