I second the praise on the mobile phone app, specifically the iPhone App, and now that we have an iPad Oh My, we are a force, our style of caching is to cache where ever we are, we travel about 6 times a year, most are weekend trips, but we take two 10 day trips a year. The App has opened up caching for us, if our plans change while on the road or we spend a day in a place that was not part of the original trip (That’s how we got Maine) then we just pull up the App, find nearby caches and off we go, the maps are great, easy to navigate by (it’s google after all) and best of all we can log as we go so no hours at the computer when we get back from a trip. Spring Break, Kansas to Florida, total of 8 new states for us, all with the iphone, we were able to find lodging and caches as we went, what could be wrong with that.
